I almost ordered to go... (but stopped)

What my coffee break taught me about showing up for creative play

Hi Reader,

This morning, I almost ordered my coffee to go. I was rushing, overwhelmed, and thinking about everything I had to do. But something stopped me.

I decided to stay.

That simple choice to "dine in" with my coffee turned into a reflection about how we treat our own creativity. We often rush through life waiting for the perfect moment to create, forgetting that the next best moment is right now.

I wrote about this experience today in a new post:

Inside, I share an invitation to find YOUR safe space and spend some time in our PTP community. The standard offer is two weeks free, no strings attached.

But, Reader, since you are a loyal subscriber, reply to this email directly, and I'll upgrade your pass to 6 weeks free. That's a saving of $35 AUD ($25 USD).

Just hit reply and say "I'm in," and I will personally get you added to the group chat. No forms, just connection with a real human, ME!

Sending love on the wind.

P.S. I'm always open to joint ventures or barter ideas. Do you have something to share with my subscribers? Let's find a way to grow our passions together. Reach out anytime by replying to this email.

A post in poetry Hi Reader, I knew it was time I sent you an email, it has been a little while. So this morning, I started with one poem, and then four came out! So here is a post with a different kind of feel today. Creativity is something that presents in many ways, and through the Permission to Play practice, I have noticed there are so many ways we can expand our creative exploration. I hope you enjoy this post. Read it here Until soon. Delphie Joy xox ----- Loving these musings? I pour a...

...and living a beautiful life. Beautiful accidents begin where control ends. This handlettered print is available on my website. Hey Reader If you are like me, you get a wiff of something and there goes your whole morning... That was me, pouring a coffee and then off on a long thought and research tangent. I got to thinking about the "good vibes only" culture, and why it might actually be doing us more harm than good. Not all methods labeled "positive" produce positive results, did you know...

The power of play Some recent pages from my junk journal where I experiment with no plan, just follow my instincts and play. Hello dear Reader, What if the antidote to perfectionism and decision paralysis isn't more avoiding things, but, actually more play? I have just posted another honest reflection about the loops my brain runs, questioning safety, second-guessing choices, and getting stuck in "what if?" territory. It's something I've lived with for a long time, and only recently...
